As you may be aware, in 2022 IM Properties secured a hybrid planning permission for a new employment park to the north of Towcester. It included detailed planning approval for a new access roundabout at the junction of the A43 and Northampton Road, changes to the Tiffield Lane/ A43 junction, alongside associated site access roads and strategic landscaping. The permission provided in principle approval for a mix of employment uses, their quantum and maximum scale.

Further submissions are to follow, covering the detailed design, on-plot layout and landscaping, alongside submissions relating to specific details and matters which frame the schemes construction. The project will be known as Towcester Park and once built will generate a mix of high quality employment space, facilitating a range of occupiers in logistics and light industrial/manufacturing sectors, including space for small to medium sized enterprises. The construction and operation of the scheme will support a broad range of employment opportunities. IM Properties wishes to maximise the local benefits associated with the project, which will also include the establishment of a Community Fund.

As the project moves forward, IM Properties wants to ensure that the community and key stakeholders are kept informed.

We will shortly be holding an in-person event at which members of the project team will be able to provide a general update on the project, explain submissions that will shortly be made to the local planning authority (known as Reserved Matters), provide an introduction to the Community Fund, and update on other activities associated with the project e.g. site activity, highway approvals. It would also like to develop a conversation around employment and skills.

There will also be an opportunity to respond to questions raised by the community

WHERE: The Sawpits Centre, Towcester NN12 6EX The format of the event will be held in round table sessions, each lasting one hour with members of the project team presenting updates on the project and taking any questions you might have.

The sessions will be held on Thursday 16th May, at the following times: 2pm – 3pm, 3:30pm – 4:30pm, 5pm – 6pm, 6:30pm – 7:30pm
