Community Fund

We recognise that business has an important role to play supporting local communities and our projects can be used as a force for good, either through provision of capital that allows new community projects to take place or existing ones to be sustained, or through the application of our time, energy and expertise.

Our project community funds play an important part in helping us deliver on our desire to create positive change and leave a positive lasting legacy. To ensure we deliver financial support in a fair and structured way, we partner with an established Community Foundation to assist us with that, drawing on their experience and understanding to support community projects and grassroot organisations who provide invaluable service to their communities.

In line with the above and as part of the development of Towcester Park, IM Properties will be establishing a Project Specific Community Fund.

Our financial giving is based on a broad criteria which seeks to support projects that:

  • Promote positive change for people including an improvement of health, wellbeing, inclusion and diversity.
  • Promote community cohesion, tackle social isolation and raise aspirations for local people.
  • Raise awareness and encourage sustainable behaviours and enhance the natural environment.

We endeavour to engage with every organisation that is awarded a grant to help raise awareness of the work they are doing to a wider audience and build relationships where our values and ethos align and, ultimately, to explore opportunities for wider giving, including time and expertise.

Our objective is to launch the Towcester Park Community Fund January 2025. Delivery of the fund will be overseen and administered by the Northamptonshire Community Foundation. The Community Foundation is a unique charity which promotes and manages philanthropy. It is the leading independent grant-making charity in the County.
